Dr. Janice Santos is an Assistant Professor of Urology at Columbia University Division of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Puerto Rico and received her Medical Degree from the same institution. Dr. Santos completed her urology residency training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, NY. She subsequently pursued a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. After completing her first fellowship, Dr. Santos moved back to New York, where she trained in Female Urology, Voiding dysfunction, Urodynamics , Neurourology and Endourology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Having completed fellowships in the above fields within Urology, Dr. Santos's clinical interests include the medical and surgical treatment of the various urologic cancers that affect both men and women. Her clinical and research interests are in male and female incontinence, vaginal prolapse, voiding dysfunction, urodynamics and surgical outcomes. Additionally, she has a special interest in managing patients with neurogenic voiding dysfunction.
